Choon-Geun Lee is member no. 495 of Porsche Club Korea in Korea and lives in Seoul.
Porsche gives me motivation for life and a way to turn my ideals into reality.
I have had a passion for Porsche since childhood, so I dreamed of owning a Porsche 991 as my dream car someday. As the saying goes, if you wish for something, it will come true. In 2019, my dream finally came true. At that time, I was thinking about the 992 Carrera S and the 991 GT3 RS, the ultimate 911 that I had been dreaming of since I was a kid! I bought a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS with 4,000 km on the clock.
I desperately wanted to buy a new car, but the GT3 RS was discontinued at the time, so I had to buy it used. Nevertheless, my Porsche life started with my dream car and from that day on I experienced the magic of making everyday life happy.
After that, I joined the Korean club on the recommendation of the chairman of Porsche Club Korea, Kim Jung-geun, and while meeting many people who shared the same interests and hobbies, I made new experiences and memories that I had not thought of before. The joy was doubled!
I knew now how happy life with Porsche can be, so when I heard that Porsche would be launching a new Boxster 718 GTS 4.0, I didn't hesitate and signed a contract in 2020, and after waiting for over a year, I got the Boxster 718 GTS 4.0 in March 2021. The 911 GT3 RS, which was my first dream car, is an irreplaceable treasure for me, but my Boxster 718 GTS 4.0, equipped with all the options I chose, has also become a special treasure that brings a completely different joy than the 911 GT3 RS.
My Porsche 911 GT3 RS and my Boxster 718 GTS 4.0 are now my companions for the rest of my life, and I plan to continue living a fun and happy car life with these two guys in the future. Also, if the opportunity arises, my heart's plan is to own all 992 GT3 RSs, plus the all-electric Taycan and a Cayenne.
Porsche is more than a car, it motivates me to live and gives me the courage to achieve my dreams. The Porsche Club Korea that I have come into contact with through Porsche, the different people I have come into contact with through it, have given me a broader view of the world and made Porsche life more valuable, which I would not have experienced alone.
