The International Porsche Classic Club Presidents’ Meeting 2021 in Speyer and Hockenheim is the first event of its kind after the enforced break due to the pandemic. The last major international Club Presidents’ Meeting took place in Portimão in 2019. Whereas the Classic Meetings in recent years were held as Classic Round Tables, often within the framework of the AvD-Classic-Grand-Prix at the Nürburgring, this time a format comparable to the international Presidents’ Meetings was chosen, with an agenda including workshops, driving events and road trips.

Taking action makes all the difference

The Porsche Club Nürburgring proudly bears two big names on its chest. And it stands by its responsibility for the region in the flood disaster around the Nürburgring.

Zell am See: a place that combines tradition with the future.

The Schüttgut estate above Lake Zell in the Salzburg region has been owned by the Porsche family since the beginning of 1942 and served as a safe and remote retreat during the turbulent war years. Today Zell am See is inseparably associated with the name of Porsche. The former retreat residence is the focal point of the Porsche family, home of the International Porsche Days Zell am See, and the venue of the GP Ice Race.

The Porsche Club Adria was recognised as an official Porsche Club with number 353 in summer 2020. Together with the Porsche Motorsport Club Suisse founded in 2021, this makes it one of the youngest Porsche Clubs in the world. It is also an example of the fact that Porsche Club life continues in difficult times and – with corresponding ambition – can even be the start of something new.

Long-running love

In 2020, the Porsche Club 968 Deutschland marked its 25th anniversary. One year later, the last transaxle series now celebrates its 30th birthday. It therefore goes without saying that the Club and President Reinhard Quante have come up with something special: from 18 to 19 September 2021, international guests, Club members and 968 drivers from surrounding European countries will meet up for a rally in South Hesse to drive along the Bergstraße between Michelstadt and Seeheim as a worthy celebration of their exotic Porsche car.

“I build them, and I drive them.”

Porsche Club of America member at a young age, President of the PCA White River Region in Arkansas and founder of the second-largest annual PCA Porsche event, the “PCA Palooza”. And not least a dedicated enthusiast of early air-cooled 911s. Leonard Zechiedrich’s life is all about Porsche and Porsche passion. “There is no single day without Porsche,” says the American. “My life is Porsche.”

Ottocar is an old-school gentleman driver. And a collector whose passion for cars has cemented his loyalty to the Porsche brand for decades. The Austrian Porsche Club member has owned 80 Porsche cars during his life as a collector. He collected his 80th car, a latest-generation Boxster Spyder, from Zuffenhausen together with Global Community Management on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Hans Clausecker was one of the first drivers in the ONS mobile track marshalling crew established by Herbert Linge in 1973. Over the course of 15 years, the old Porsche hand experienced many tragic moments, but was also right in the middle of the motorsport action, and learned a great deal about camaraderie, racing and legendary race tracks.

It is both revered and feared. It characterises the Eifel region and its people. Its Nordschleife tells stories of tears, victories, defeats and triumphs. The Nürburgring is called the “Green Hell” for a good reason. But the people at the Ring also shape the stories of the legendary race track.
