Club events and activities 2022

Dear Porsche Club Members and Club Presidents,

We hope you had a successful start into the year 2022. We wish you good health, happiness and much success in your numerous activities in the Porsche Club world. Above all, of course, many great moments and experiences together with your Club friends. At home in your local Club, but also hopefully increasingly internationally.

Following the last two years which have been marked by the pandemic situation worldwide, we are all hoping for a better year in 2022 with numerous national and international highlights.

For Porsche Clubs and Porsche, the year 2022 will be dominated by the Club anniversary: The Porsche Club Community celebrates 70 years of Porsche Clubs this year. A great anniversary of an incredible success story.

On May 26th, 1952 the first Porsche Club was founded as the Porsche Club Hohensyburg; today's Porsche Club Westfalen. As such, May 26th is an important date and a landmark in this anniversary year. You can expect numerous actions through the entire season.

The season will start on Jan. 28, 2022, at the GP Ice Race in Zell am See near the home of the Porsche family. Here, the son of Dr. Wolfgang Porsche, Ferdinand Porsche, has helped a time-honored tradition to new splendor. The Porsche passion will be on display again in March at the Porsche Collectors Day in Gelderland, at Mark Weigh’s impressive Porsche Classic Center.

In April, the Porsche Club Francorchamps once again invites visitors to Spa, where some 2,000 Porsche enthusiasts have gathered in recent years. A “must-attend” event to which the organizers expressly welcome Club members from the worldwide Club community.

In the anniversary month of May, the International 356 Meeting will take place in the Netherlands from 26.05. to 29.05.2022 (!). We look forward to celebrating the anniversary together with the keepers of the first Porsche cars.

Porsche Club Trentino, together with Porsche Club Slovenia and Austrian clubs, will organize the Alpe-Danube-Adria Porsche Club Tour around Lago di Garda. The Porsche Parade USA will take place this year in June in the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania, the Fédération Porsche Clubs de France invites you to Porsche Days during the Le Mans Classic in early July, and Porsche Club Great Britain holds its National Event this year during the Silverstone Classic in August.

The Carrera RS 2.7 is also celebrating a major anniversary this year. 50 years ago, the sports car with the characteristic "ducktail" was presented in a limited edition. The Porsche Club for the Carrera RS 2.7 in Germany is planning a major anniversary event around the Porsche Museum. So, we're in for an exciting 2022 season.

What activities and events are you and your Club planning this year? We would like to ask you to fill the Porsche Club News event calendar with your events showing the living Porsche enthusiasm! We look forward to your support. Show the Clubs in the world what makes you tick and what moves you. Send us the key dates and a description of your main national events. This way, every Club member around the world can see what's being prepared in your home areas.
